Digital test creation

Bring your speech test materials into a digital workflow, then plan how they can reach the people who need them.

Prepare the material

Start with the words, images, and prompts you want to use to elicit speech. Bring existing materials you have permission to adapt, or develop new material for your clinical, research, or teaching context.

  • Target words, images, and prompts
  • Model forms and language or dialect information
  • Reference sources and permissions to use the material

Plan how it reaches others

Once the material is ready, discuss its intended users and distribution with Speech Metrics. Tests submitted for the Marketplace are reviewed before publication. Preparing a test does not automatically publish it.
